This project was initiated in 2004 funded by Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). This research work involved the introduction of a pair of basic switching cells that could be used to reconfigure many power electronic circuits for easier analysis and modification. New circuit topologies of dc-dc converters and inverters were deduced using these switching cells.
