Melanie Agcaoili
Melanie Agcaoili is participated in the Ronald McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program at The University of Tennessee during the summer of 2003. Her research for the program involves the multilevel power converter. She is also an M.S. student in electrical engineering at Mercer University, Macon, Georgia. As an intern, she performed toll study and updated the routing network using AutoCAD for the cellular department at Public Service Telephone Company.

Hakim Ghanem
Hakim Ghanem is an exchange student from the Ecole Centrale Nantes (France) at The University of Tennessee. After two years of maths and physics in the preparatory classes of Janson de Sailly High School (Paris, France) he has been a student at Centrale Nantes where he is completing an engineering degree in automatic control. He did his project work at The University of Tennessee during the summer of 2003. His research interests include time delay systems.

Zhao Jin
Dr. Zhao Jin, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science And Technology, P.R.China has joined as a visiting professor in Power Electronics Research Laboratory under the sponsorship of Chinese Government. He will work on fuzzy logic based intelligent control of power electronics.



Cong Wang
Dr. Cong Wang, Professor of Electrical Engineering from China University of Mining & Technology, P.R.China, has joined as a visiting professor in Power Electronics Research Laboratory under the sponsorship of Chinese Government. He will work on neural-network based intelligent control of power electronics.

Subrata Mondal
Dr. Subrata Mondal was a research professor at The University of Tennessee from 2000 - 2001. His research interest was overmodulation operation of multilevel inverters. He is presently a research engineer at Aerovironment in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Oh is a research associate in the power electronics laboratory at The University of Tennessee. He received the B.E.E., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Han Yang University, Seoul, Korea. He was an assistant professor in electrical engineering at Yuhan College Puchon, Korea.

Dr. In-Dong Kim (1997-98) from Pukyong Natinal University, Korea. His research topic was" New ZCS Turn-On and ZVS Turn-Off Unity Power Factor PWM Rectifier with Reduced Conduction Loss and No Auxiliary Switches."

Dr. Malakondaiah Naidu (1988-89) had as a research topic "Rotor position estimation scheme of a PM synchronous machine for high performance variable speed drive." Presently, he works at the General Motors Research Lab in Warren, Michigan.
