Fangxing "Fran" Li
Dr. Li is an assistant professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The
University of Tennessee. He received his BSEE and MSEE degrees from Southeast
University, Nanjing, China in 1994 and 1997 respectively. He then received his
Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech in 2001. He had worked at ABB from February 2001
to August 2005 as a Senior Engineer and then a Principal Engineer before
becoming a faculty member at The University of Tennessee. His current interests
include various aspects in power systems, especially in distribution systems,
energy markets, reliability, and computation.

Leon M. Tolbert
Dr. Leon Tolbert is an associate professor in Electrical and Computer
Engineering at The University of Tennessee where he has worked since 1999.
He received the B.E.E., M.S.,
and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of
Technology. He worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 1991 to 1999.
He is a registered professional engineer in Tennessee and Senior
Member of the IEEE. He is an adjunct participant at the Oak Ridge National
Laboratory and conducts joint research at the National Transportation Research
Center (NTRC).

Kevin Tomsovic
Dr. Kevin Tomsovic is the department head of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
at The University of Tennessee. He received his B.S. in electrical engineering in Michigan Technological University 1982, and then he received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees
in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington in 1984 and 1987, respectively. He previously was a professor
at Washington State University.

Jack Lawler
Dr. Jack Lawler is a professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering
at The University of Tennessee. He received the B.S. in electrical engineering and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees
in systems science from Michigan State University. He worked at Martin Marietta and General Time Corporation before
becoming a professor at The University of Tennessee in 1979.
